Cirion when colocation, dedicated infrastructure and cloud connectivity need to work as one architecture
Data centres, dedicated computing and interconnection organised around application and operational requirements.
Location, capacity, licences, responsibilities and services are confirmed in the applicable proposal.
Cirion for enterprise infrastructure and hybrid cloud
Colocation, Bare Metal, Private Cloud and interconnection assign different responsibilities to the customer, provider and integrator. ADD defines these boundaries based on applications, observed capacity and the continuity plan before putting together the contract. Based in São José do Rio Preto since 2011, ADD Solution works in technology engineering, deployment and operations. Our work begins by understanding the existing environment: dependencies, security requirements, capacity and business priorities. From this assessment, we evaluate how Cirion services can fit into the architecture, with responsibilities and acceptance criteria defined for each stage. Talk to ADD Solution and assess the next step for your infrastructure.
Choose the right infrastructure model
The portfolio requires different choices depending on the desired level of control and the company’s operational capacity. With Colocation, customer equipment is installed in the data centre, with space, power, cooling and connectivity. Bare Metal provides dedicated physical servers. Private Cloud offers an exclusive environment on dedicated physical infrastructure, with Cirion managing the underlying infrastructure. Managed Hosting covers server management for applications and websites, including configuration, monitoring and maintenance, according to the contracted scope. Interconnection services link these environments to carriers, other data centres and cloud providers. Selection must consider measured performance, application compatibility, administrative control and the tasks that will remain with the internal team. A single architecture can combine service models, provided support boundaries and integration points are documented.
Application-driven architecture
A sound project starts with an inventory of servers, databases, integrations and communication flows. For an ERP system, for example, it is important to understand the relationships between users, the application, the database and files before choosing where each component will run. The analysis must also include legacy systems, maintenance windows and software vendor limitations. We recommend sizing processing, memory and storage based on observed consumption and peak periods. Production, acceptance-testing and administration environments should be separated in proportion to the risk. The Cirion Compute offering includes Bare Metal and Private Cloud; the actual configuration, specialised resources and their availability must be confirmed for the chosen location.
Connectivity to integrate data centres and cloud
Cirion Connect covers cross-connects, private access to cloud services, internet exchange points, IP transit and routing services. The official page mentions connectivity with AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud and Oracle. This layer can serve companies that keep applications on premises while also using public cloud services. In network design, we recommend validating handoff points, capacity, routing, addressing and name resolution. Alternative paths must also be defined, and redundant circuits checked for shared physical segments. Private connectivity and encryption are different requirements: content protection must be assessed for each traffic flow. Cloud access must be compatible with the provider and location involved. Purchasing transport does not imply the inclusion of processing, storage or other services from the connected provider. The proposal must specify each party’s components and charges.
Identity and security with clear responsibilities
Security must be addressed throughout the solution. As a design guideline, we recommend individual accounts, least privilege, multifactor authentication where available and reviews of administrative access. Integration with the corporate directory must be validated for each system, without assuming a universal Cirion identity service. Network segmentation, vulnerability management, system updates and activity-log retention must also be defined. The tasks assigned to the customer, Cirion and ADD Solution must be included in the scope. Cirion’s acceptable use policy establishes security and credential-protection obligations; the team must understand these conditions before go-live. For audit requirements, we recommend requesting current documents and checking the facility, services and period covered. Facility certification does not replace an assessment of application controls. The responsibility matrix helps identify evidence that depends on the provider and evidence the organisation itself must produce.
Protected data and tested recovery
Data planning begins with information classification and the impact of unavailability. We recommend defining where production data, copies and operational logs will be stored, and who may access them. Retention, disposal, encryption and key-custody requirements must be explicitly addressed. For continuity, each application needs recovery objectives: how long it can remain unavailable and how much data loss is tolerable. These parameters guide the choice of backup, replication and an alternative environment. Protection must include restore tests and procedures for returning to normal operations. Data centre power, cooling and network redundancy support part of this strategy. The complete design must also consider software failures, accidental deletions and compromised credentials. Backup or recovery services should only be considered included when specified in the contract.
Location and availability verified for each project
In Brazil, Cirion lists facilities in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Curitiba. SAO1 is in Cotia, in the São Paulo metropolitan area; RIO1 and CUR1 have dedicated pages with infrastructure and connectivity information. The choice must consider proximity to applications and users, communication routes and recovery needs. Operating facilities must be distinguished from announced expansions. When consulted on 2 October 2026, the official RIO2 page stated an opening planned for 2027. Its future capacity must therefore not be used as the basis for immediate delivery without formal confirmation. Cirion’s regional presence also does not mean that every service is available at every facility. The project must confirm commercially available capacity, the cloud access point, deployment lead time and data location for the specific solution.
Process-led operations
Cirion Managed presents activities such as operating system installation, patching, monitoring, troubleshooting and support. To use these services effectively, the company must define which assets and layers will be covered, which permissions will be granted and how changes will be approved. We recommend establishing regular oversight using capacity indicators, observed availability and recurring incidents. Alerts must have responsible owners, priority criteria and clear escalation paths. Changes must include a maintenance window, execution evidence and rollback. ADD Solution can integrate these definitions into the contracted engineering and operational work, keeping documentation accessible to the team responsible for the environment.
Planned migration and validation before cutover
Migration should start with a representative application, known dependencies and success criteria agreed in advance. We recommend testing connectivity, identity, performance and restoration before the final transfer. Systems with databases require attention to consistency, synchronisation and the point at which new writes switch to the destination. For colocated equipment, the plan must also cover transport, inventory, installation and authorised facility access. Current procedures must be checked in the Customer Handbook that Cirion provides to customers. Go-live should follow technical and functional acceptance, with responsible staff present and a viable rollback plan. During stabilisation, errors, response times and resource consumption are monitored. This approach allows differences in behaviour to be corrected while keeping business continuity in focus. A baseline should be recorded before the change: response times, processed volumes, known failures and user behaviour. Comparison with the destination environment supports acceptance and avoids attributing existing problems to the migration. Closing this stage must include updating the inventory and briefing the support team.
Contracting and licensing without assumptions
Before approval, the proposal must distinguish infrastructure, connectivity, managed services and third-party components. Operating system, virtualisation, database and backup-tool licences must have defined ownership, usage rights and renewal responsibilities. Reusing existing licences depends on the manufacturer’s terms and the destination environment. Timelines, contracted capacity, expansion, maintenance, support, data return and termination conditions must also be confirmed. Availability and response times depend on the applicable SLA; commercial wording does not replace the contract. The public Private Cloud and Bare Metal pages advise checking regional availability and do not establish a universal licensing rule for all projects.
Key decisions about Cirion
What can Cirion offer a business?
The platform combines colocation, interconnection, dedicated computing and managed services. The mix depends on the application, location and contract. The project must start with the company’s requirements and identify which portfolio capabilities meet the actual need.
What is the difference between Colocation and Private Cloud?
With Colocation, the customer hosts its equipment in the data centre infrastructure. Private Cloud provides a dedicated environment with exclusive physical infrastructure and management of the underlying layer. The choice changes the division of responsibilities, investment and expansion model.
Can I connect the environment to a public cloud?
Yes. Cirion offers private connections to major providers through Connect. The interconnection point, capacity and compatibility with the destination must be confirmed. Accounts, permissions and resources contracted with the cloud provider must be addressed separately.
Can the data remain in Brazil?
Cirion has Brazilian facilities that can be part of the project. The proposal must confirm the locations of production, copies and recovery, as this configuration depends on the services selected. The data centre’s location alone does not describe all the environment’s data flows.
Can RIO2 already be considered available?
The official page consulted on 2 October 2026 states an opening planned for 2027. Its use should be treated as expansion planning, with confirmation of the schedule and capacity, without assuming immediate availability.
Do managed services cover the entire application?
The portfolio presents infrastructure management and operational activities. Coverage of databases, applications, integrations and code must be confirmed in the scope. It is important to identify who investigates each type of incident and who authorises changes.
How should availability and continuity be assessed?
Check the contracted SLA, redundancy architecture and application recovery plan. Define measurable objectives, tests and responsible owners. The assessment must cover the solution’s components, including connectivity, data and external dependencies.
